Preview: Leeds Carnegie v Leicester Tigers

Leeds have already beaten Leicester at Headingley Carnegie this season, 28-17 in the LV= Cup on 8 November, but the Tigers won 39-6 when the two teams clashed in the Guinness Premiership at Welford Road on 28 November.

Leeds Carnegie have won just one of their last five games in the Guinness Premiership: 16-15 at Newcastle on 27 December.

Amazingly Leeds have not won at home in the Premiership since Newcastle were the visitors on 21 March 2008. Leicester Tigers currently top the Guinness Premiership table following three successive victories in the competition, however the Tigers’ only away win in any competition since October was 22-15 at Saracens in the Premiership on 2 January.

Referee: Chris White (169th Premiership game)
