Youngs brothers help the next generation

Leicester Tigers Ben and Tom Youngs were more than happy to pass on what they have learnt during their career to the next generation of budding rugby players, during a recent training session held at High Wycombe RFC.

The youngsters had won the exclusive training day with the England and Leicester Tigers duo through a competition run by Land Rover, in conjunction with the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup, a series of national grassroots rugby festivals for under 11 and under 12 teams.

Members of High Wycombe RFC enjoyed one-on-one tuition from the Young’s brothers, with Tom helping the forwards with their line out throwing and scrummaging and Ben taking the backs through some set piece plays.

Like most professional rugby players, Ben and Tom Youngs started out playing rugby in the same way members of High Wycombe RFC have, turning out each weekend through the sheer love of the game whilst understanding the values that make it such a unique sport.

With the help of the Youngs brothers imparting their advice and through grassroots initiatives like the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup, the next crop of professional rugby players are sure to be unearthed.
