Sale Sharks Team News

Sale Sharks have named their team for Sunday’s Aviva Premiership game against Wasps at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.

Its sixth (Wasps) v seventh (Sharks) and the winners could  be in the top four by late Sunday afternoon.

The Ricoh arena attracted a huge crowd for the game  prior to Christmas and another five figure crowd is expected this weekend. Wasps have never lost at the Ricoh Arena (Northampton & Munster in 2007 and London Irish in December). Sharks on the other hand have won 4/5 last Premiership games including back to back away wins at Harlequins and Newcastle. Sharks have also won all their last six fixtures against Wasps since losing at Adams Park in December 2012.

Sharks Director of Rugby Steve Diamond makes several changes to the side that lost out in the last minute to Leicester Tigers last Saturday afternoon. Missing out through injury is skipper Dan Braid who picked up a knee injury in the game.
