Northampton Saints team news for Sale clash

The Northampton Saints team has been named for Saturday’s Aviva Premiership Round 16 clash with Sale.

The Saints’ coaches have made four changes to the starting line-up from that which ran out against Saracens last Saturday. All are up front, with Ethan Waller, Paul Hill, James Craig and Christian Day all coming into the pack.

Day previews the action in this week’s podcast along with George Pisi and defence coach Alan Dickens, with topics also including the Aviva Premiership going Stateside this weekend, cult heroes and what makes the Samoan brotherhood so strong on and off the pitch. There is a chat with Senior Academy hooker James Fish, and a reflection on the Elite Insurance Sevens Series action so far. Listen for FREE on any device at or subscribe on iTunes.

Just two places and three league points separate the Saints from the Sharks in the Aviva Premiership standings, and every voice counts at Franklin’s Gardens in the chase for the top four. Tickets remain available at and by using Print@Home supporters can save the admin fees and beat the match day queues!

There will be double the rugby on offer, too, with the Saints’ game being immediately followed by England’s Six Nations clash with Wales, which will be shown live from Twickenham on the big screens in the bars throughout the stadium from 4pm.
