Leicester Tigers team news for Champions Cup

Manu Tuilagi and Logogvi’i Mulipola return to the Leicester Tigers starting line-up for the European Champions Cup match against Benetton Treviso at Welford Road on Saturday evening.

Tuilagi starts his first game in 15 months after recovering from a long-term groin injury and Samoan prop Mulipola makes only his fourth starting appearance of the season after overcoming a knee injury.

Mulipola joins captain Tom Youngs and Dan Cole in the front row, and there is a place for Jordan Crane in the back row alongside Mike Fitzgerald and Tom Croft.

Tommy Bell comes into the team at full-back and Vereniki Goneva is on the wing after missing the local derby against Northampton Saints last weekend. Freddie Burns starts at fly-half with Owen Williams sidelined after suffering a fractured jaw last week.

Kick-off in the Pool 4 fixture is at 7.45pm and match tickets are available now. Book at Welford Road, phone 0116 319 8888 (option 2) or book online at www.leicestertigers.com. The office is open 9am-5pm weekdays and from 9am on Saturday; phone lines are open from 8.30am every day.

Fixtures in the pool rounds of Europe are included in Tigers season tickets.

Supporters who hold season tickets for under-10s or juniors, or for children as part of a Tigers family season ticket, can exchange these for adult tickets free of charge to allow you to enjoy the match with family and friends if kick-off is too late for younger members. Please note that all upgrades will require the issue of a replacement paper ticket from the Tigers ticket office.
