Win a place on the Lions Tour with Land Rover

Land Rover, a long-standing partner of Premiership Rugby, is on the hunt for grassroots Lions fans and looking to give amateur rugby players and supporters in the UK & Ireland the chance of a lifetime; offering them a trip to New Zealand for the Lions Tour this summer.

Land Rover are scouring grassroots rugby for people who embody the game’s values of resilience, integrity and passion. The winners will be joining the Lions for the first Test in Auckland this June.

If you want to enter Land Rover’s competition, simply send a written / photo / video submission to @LandRoverRugby on Twitter using #WeDealInReal. Make sure your entry includes a message of support for the Lions or a reason why you should go on Tour. Example entries could include:

  • Message for the Lions Captain
  • Singing your national anthem/club song
  • Team talk for the Lions

If you are not twitter, entries can also be made via email to landroverlions@fasttrackagency.com

Lions head coach Warren Gatland kicked off the competition by surprising Whitton Lions RFC during training, turning up with Lions legends Martin Johnson, Brian O’Driscoll, Gavin Hastings and Sir Gareth Edwards.

The surprise visit was the first in a series of Land Rover events in the build-up to the tour, involving grassroots rugby clubs, Land Rover retailers and rugby grounds around the UK and Ireland.

A British & Irish Lions branded vehicle will also be used to recruit entrants around the country at Land Rover events hosted by Premiership Rugby such as the national series of grassroots rugby festivals, the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup as well as Land Rover’s famous Owner’s Hospitality, appearing at Premiership Rugby grounds during the season.
