Josh Beaumont to skipper Sale Sharks against Pau

Sale Sharks have named their side to take on Pau in the European Rugby Challenge Cup on Friday night.

Josh Beaumont takes over the captain's armband, and leads an experienced side, which features Danny Cipriani, Johnny Leota and Chris Cusiter.

Sale director of rugby Steve Diamond said: "We’ve put ourselves in a good position, and it’s down to us to qualify for the quarter-finals now.  

"I think it will be a similar Pau side that faced us earlier in the competition. They’ll be a difficult side to play against. We’re looking forward to the challenge.”
