Gloucester Rugby name team to take on Wasps

For their first trip in the Aviva Premiership to the Ricoh Stadium, Gloucester Rugby make five changes to their starting line up to take on Wasps.

Gloucester have of course played at the Ricoh Stadium before, defeating the Ospreys 17-0 in the semi-final of the EDF Energy Cup back in 2009. However, it's the first time that the Cherry and Whites will have played a Premiership fixture at the venue.

There are five changes to the side that defeated London Welsh last weekend.

Jonny May is back from England duty and slots in on the wing, while Mark Atkinson takes over at outside centre from the luckless Henry Trinder who was stretchered off last weekend in his first start since week two.

Dan Robson returns at scrum-half, and there are two changes in the pack where Darren Dawidiuk and former Wasp, Tom Palmer, replace Aleki Lutui and James Hudson respectively.

Gloucester Rugby:

Charlie Sharples; Jonny May, Mark Atkinson, Bill Meakes, Henry Purdy; James Hook, Dan Robson; Dan Murphy, Darren Dawidiuk, John Afoa; Tom Savage (capt), Tom Palmer; Ross Moriarty, Matt Kvesic, Sione Kalamafoni

Replacements:
Aleki Lutui, Yann Thomas, Sila Puafisi, James Hudson, Jacob Rowan, Callum Braley, Billy Burns, Gareth Evans
