Marcelo Bosch has signed a contract extension with Saracens.

The Argentine international centre has put pen to paper to extend his stay with the Allianz Park club. Capped 33 times by Argentina, Bosch has made 40 appearances for Saracens since his arrival in October 2013 from French side Biarritz.

Speaking about extending his existing deal, Bosch said: "I’m very happy to sign a new contract with Saracens. Ever since I arrived at the club, I have been treated extremely well, and everyone have made my family feel so welcome.

"One of my goals when I first came to Saracens was to keep learning. I spent seven years in France before the move, so coming here was a big challenge for me in terms of a change of lifestyle, but of course in a change of rugby as well. I wanted to learn more and try improve as much as I could in every aspect of the game. I’m very pleased with how things have gone so far. I’m still trying to learn, still trying to improve, and I’m still enjoying myself."

The 31-year old added: "I am very happy to be staying here, as my family and I have enjoyed our time at club so far. We’re looking forward to years ahead."

Director of Rugby, Mark McCall: "Marcelo has worked incredibly hard since he arrived at the club, back in October 2013. Since then he has made huge improvements in his game and is constantly looking to get better as a player.

"What’s pleased us most about Marcelo is that he has rediscovered his love for the game. His hunger and determination to improve is second to none. We’re all delighted that Marcelo has decided to extend his stay with the club."
