Aviva Premiership Rugby TV coverage on BT Sport and ITV Sport

The Aviva Premiership Rugby season so far has provided us with drama throughout, with three dominant teams at the top, an almighty scrap for fourth place and records broken left, right and centre.

But it is only now that the competition really bursts into life, as the semi-finals take place this weekend – with the Twickenham showpiece a week later.

And what a line-up it is; with Leicester Tigers competing in their 13th straight semi-final – joining Wasps, Exeter Chiefs and Saracens.

Both matches will inevitably be gripping, and you can enjoy a feast of rugby on Saturday – with both matches live on BT Sport and coverage starting from 1.45pm.

The live action all kicks off at 2.30pm, as Exeter Chiefs host Saracens in a rematch of 2016’s thrilling final.

The Chiefs suffered a slight hangover from that heartbreaking loss in the first half of the campaign, but they finished it off in style – with eight try bonus-point wins on the bounce.

That was enough to see them finish second, but Saracens are fresh from securing their second straight Champions Cup triumph with victory against Clermont Auvergne last weekend.

Mark McCall’s side come alive at this time of year, making this clash at Sandy Park one of the highlights of the season.

And if that was not enough, then just a couple of hours later Wasps tackle old rivals Leicester Tigers at the Ricoh Arena.

Dai Young’s men composed an outstanding campaign, topping the table after 22 matches – earning them home advantage in the semi-finals.

But Leicester are experienced campaigners and know how to succeed in semi-finals, this being their 13th in a row.

That clash gets underway live on BT Sport 1 & BT Sport 4k UHD at 5.15pm. But if you miss that, or the first semi-final, then fear not.

ITV has the highlights covered, with shows on Sunday at 8pm (ITV4), 11.20pm (ITV) and Tuesday at 12.40am (ITV4), while Rugby Tonight Live returns on Wednesday at 8pm on BT Sport 3.
