Aviva Premiership Rugby Live on TV

BTSportCamera

The last round of Aviva Premiership Rugby action before the European break kicks off live on BT Sport at the Recreation Ground tonight.

Coverage of Bath Rugby v Harlequins will start at 7pm on BT Sport 2 and with Bath’s new signing on the bench we could see Sam Burgess get his first taste of Aviva Premiership Rugby action.

Bath Rugby have won three of their last four Aviva Premiership Rugby encounters at The Rec and have lost just one of their last nine matches in all tournaments: 19-21 to Toulouse in the European Rugby Champions Cup on 25 October.

Harlequins have won two of their last three away matches in all competitions, at Wasps in the European Rugby Champions Cup and at Gloucester Rugby in Aviva Premiership Rugby.

Sunday sees a double header on BT Sport 2 from noon.

London Irish v Gloucester Rugby will kick-off at 1pm with both teams aiming to get back into winning form. London Irish have slipped to four straight defeats in all competitions since their 25-15 victory in Grenoble in the European Rugby Challenge Cup.  Gloucester Rugby have slipped to three successive defeats in Aviva Premiership Rugby but have not lost four in a row in the tournament since this time last year.

Newcastle Falcons v Sale Sharks rounds off the weekend’s live TV action kicking off at 3.15pm.

Newcastle Falcons have won three of their last four Aviva Premiership Rugby matches and have won back-to-back Aviva Premiership Rugby encounters at Kingston Park, but have not won three in succession at the venue in the tournament since March 2009.

Sale Sharks have also won three of their last four Aviva Premiership Rugby matches so will be attempting to win consecutive fixtures on the road.
