Sale Sharks v London Wasps - Aviva Premiership

Aviva Premiership Rugby fans in Ireland have been guaranteed match highlights for the next two years after a deal confirmed today by Premiership Rugby, with Setanta.

The Irish channel will show the Aviva Premiership Rugby Highlights Programme for every round both during this season and 2016-17.

Hot on the heels of a new six-year contract with BT Sport and a new overseas agreement with RDA this is another important announcement for Premiership Rugby.

"Ireland is a crucial market for Aviva Premiership Rugby so we are delighted to sign this deal with a leading broadcaster. It is the perfect home for the League in Ireland," said Premiership Rugby's Commercial Director, Dominic Hayes.

"Setanta have a superb reputation for sports broadcasting and with the huge increases we have seen in the UK for Aviva Premiership Rugby we expect this to be a very successful partnership."
