Piet van Zyl scored two tries as London Irish beat Harlequins 35-5 at the Stoop for their third win of Aviva Premiership Rugby season.
Max Northcote-Green and Tom Fowlie also went over for Irish with Tommy Bell kicking three penalties and three conversions in the bonus point success.
Jack Clifford got the only consolation score for Harlequins.
Fowlie’s burst through the hosts defence before offloading to Van Zyl to finish off the opening try.
Irish doubled their lead less than 10 minutes later when James Marshall’s cross kick was collected by Lewington and his kick over Mike Brown bounced its way into Van Zyl’s hands.
The visitors extended their lead even further when Northcote-Green finished off a move in the corner after some excellent build up play by the Irish backs.
With Bell’s penalty on the stroke of half time, London Irish were 22-0 to the good at the Twickenham Stoop.
And Irish extended their advantage with the first points of the second half, Bell once again slotting a penalty through the posts.
Harlequins did eventually get on the scoreboard through Clifford, the flanker diving onto Danny Care’s chip into the corner.
Centre Fowlie then touched down Van Zyl’s inch perfect chip into the back of the in-goal area to secure the bonus point score.
The try came about after Care was sent to the sin bin for failing to retreat ten yards with another Bell penalty pushing London Irish’s lead to 30 points.
Charlie Matthew was also sent to the sin bin late on as Irish completed the double over their London rivals.
