As the 2020-21 Gallagher Premiership Rugby season gradually draws to a close, it’s time to spotlight some of those individuals who have stood out from the crowd throughout an exhilarating campaign.

The Gallagher Community Player of the Season award celebrates those who go above and beyond to help out and make a difference within their local community, highlighting the good work Premiership Rugby players do off the field. Click here to read about the four individuals who were all nominated.

Marland Yarde

Sale Sharks winger Marland Yarde was crowned winner of the Gallagher Community Player of the Season award for his work with Manchester’s homeless community. Click here to read more.

Exeter Chiefs No.8 Sam Simmonds was in a league of his own when it came to scoring tries this season, finishing the regular campaign with 20 to win the Gallagher Premiership Rugby Top Try-Scorer award. Click here to read more.

Simmonds finished eight tries clear of anyone else, with Harlequins scrum-half Danny Care next with 12. Wasps winger Josh Bassett, Harlequins No.8 Alex Dombrandt and Sale Sharks winger Byron Mcguigan all finished with nine each.

Harlequins star Marcus Smith has won the Gilbert Golden Boot award for the 2020-21 season. The fly-half takes home the prize after kicking more points than anyone else in Gallagher Premiership Rugby, with 230 between Rounds 1 and 22. Click here to read more.

Bristol Bears star Siva Naulago has claimed The Famous Grouse Try of the Season award, for his stunning effort against London Irish in the teams’ mouth-watering 34-34 draw in February. Click here to read more.

Whoever ends up lifting the Gallagher Premiership Rugby trophy at Twickenham on June 26 will be worthy champions but even that squad would have a hard time competing against the BT Sport Dream Team named in the Premiership Rugby Awards. Click here to read about the XV who made it into the side.

Pat Lam

Four bosses were nominated for the Global Reach Director of Rugby of the Season award, having steered their sides to a series of stellar performances across the campaign. Click here to read about the quartet.

But it was Bristol Bears boss Pat Lam who was named the winner of the award for the 2020/21 campaign after his side finished the regular season top of the standings. Click here to read more.

Sam Simmonds

Sam Simmonds has been crowned the Gallagher Premiership Rugby Player of the Season for 2020-21.

The Exeter Chiefs No.8 edged out Harlequins fly-half Marcus Smith to win the award, with the latter selected as the runner-up. Click here to read more.
