BT Sport set to show a pair of Premiership Rugby Cup crackers
The Premiership Rugby Cup is back for one more round before Gallagher Premiership Rugby gets underway and there’s two televised games to watch this week.
Friday night is reserved for Bath Rugby’s trip to Gloucester Rugby and will be shown live on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate from 7.30pm.
The two teams currently sit bottom of their respective pools, although it is Bath that have a better record in the competition having picked up a win over Worcester Warriors in Round 2.
Meanwhile Gloucester have lost all three of their fixtures so far against London Irish, Bristol Bears and Leicester Tigers, but have managed to pick up three bonus points along the way, making for an intriguing West Country derby.
Saturday’s live fixture will see Exeter Chiefs play host to Bristol Bears from 2.45pm on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate, with kick-off at 3pm.
Exeter are currently top of Pool 3 with two wins out of three, while Bristol Bears have the same record but are only second in Pool 2 behind Harlequins, who have won all of their games so far.
Both sides still harbour hopes of reaching the semi-finals and you won’t want to miss this one.
But if you do miss any of the live action over the weekend you can catch up on all the thrills and spills with Monday night’s highlights show from 7pm on Channel 5.
