Doyle on the whistle for Midlands derby
The experienced JP Doyle will be refereeing perhaps the most mouth-watering Round 15 clash in Gallagher Premiership Rugby as Leicester Tigers hosts Wasps on Saturday afternoon.
The BT Sport cameras will be at Welford Road for the always-intense East Midlands derby as two of the competition’s most storied teams go head to head.
It will be Doyle’s 165th game in the middle in the league – a clash that sees Wasps looking to maintain their strong record against Geordan Murphy’s men, with only one defeat in their last seven fixtures in all competitions – and the assistants are Steve Lee and Hamish Smales, with Sean Davey as TMO.
Elsewhere, Karl Dickson will take charge of the opening game of Round 15 in Gallagher Premiership Rugby.

It will be the 15th time he has had the whistle for a Premiership Rugby clash and will see Bristol Bears welcome Gloucester Rugby to Ashton Gate.
Dickson will be ably assisted by Tom Foley and Paul Dix for the match-up, live on BT Sport, as the two West Country sides do battle.
The Cherry and Whites have beaten the table-toppers, Exeter Chiefs and then Saracens, in their last two Gallagher Premiership Rugby matches, while Bristol are looking to snap a three-game domestic losing streak.
Saturday’s action is being overseen by three experienced heads in addition to Doyle, starting with Matthew Carley taking charge of his 81st Premiership Rugby game when Bath Rugby host Harlequins.
Elsewhere Ian Tempest (56th Premiership Rugby game) and Luke Pearce (86th Premiership Rugby game) will be in charge of Sale Sharks against Exeter Chiefs and Saracens versus Northampton Saints respectively.
Rounding off the weekend’s action is Newcastle Falcons hosting Worcester Warriors, with Wayne Barnes overseeing proceedings in his 210th match in the competition.
Once again it is live on BT Sport, as the hosts look to maintain their strong form against Worcester – with three wins from their four most recent clashes.
