Strauss return is sole Sale Sharks change for Saracens

Steve Diamond has named his squad to face Gallagher Premiership Champions Saracens in Round 12 of the competition on Friday evening.

The Sale Sharks Director of Rugby has made one personnel change to his Match-day 23 with Scotland International Josh Strauss moving to No.8 in place of Jean Luc Du Preez, who sustained a groin injury during the Sharks emphatic win at Kingsholm last Saturday.

Sharks Academy winger Arron Reed will take up a position on the bench in place of Strauss.

Sale Sharks director of rugby Steve Diamond said: “This is by far our biggest task of the season so far, Saracens will be up for it on Friday night especially with all of their international stars available.

“We will have to be at our very best to get anything from this game, but we are hoping to take the momentum we have built over the past few weeks into a good physical encounter at the AJ Bell Stadium.”
