Officials announced for this weekend’s Premiership Rugby Cup Derby Day clashes
The Premiership Rugby Cup flies back into view this weekend and the men laying down the laws on the field have been announced for the Derby Day clashes.
The last round of pool matches is sure to throw up some big performances and there are no fewer than three Derby Day match-ups for you to feast upon on Saturday.
Exeter Chiefs are in pole position in Pool One and although they come into their game against Bristol Bears flying high, will still want to record a positive result from the Ashton Gate encounter.
Luke Pearce will be the man in the middle for the West Country showdown, assisted by Sara Cox and George Selwood with Claire Hodnett the TMO.
Meanwhile, something has got to give in Pool Two as Saracens find themselves level on points with Worcester Warriors in Pool Two before they take on Harlequins at Twickenham Stoop on Saturday.
And it will be the experienced Wayne Barnes who takes command for that match-up, leaving one more match on the menu this weekend.
Adam Leal will be in charge of proceedings when Leicester Tigers travel to Northampton Saints in the always-intense East Midlands Derby.
Saints will be hoping to extend their lead at the top of Pool Three while the Tigers will be as keen as ever to take the bragging rights in one of rugby’s oldest derbies.
