Gallagher Premiership Rugby referees ready for Round Three

Two enthralling rounds have been and gone in Gallagher Premiership Rugby and another set of high octane fixtures are right around the corner.

Keeping a cool head in the middle of all the action are the referees and we have another set of experienced officials taking their whistles this weekend.

Leicester Tigers head to Wasps in a clash of the titans on BT Sport this Sunday and it will be Ian Tempest who takes charge of his 48th top flight fixture.

He’ll be flanked by assistant referees Hamish Smales and Jonathan Healy with David Grashoff the TMO for this mouth-watering clash at the Ricoh Arena.

We’ve already had two sensational West Country Derbies and we’re preparing for yet another one this Friday as Bristol Bears make the short trip to Gloucester Rugby in front of the BT Sport cameras.

Tom Foley has his 54th outing as a Premiership Rugby referee at the Kingsholm and will have Wayne Falla and Adam Lead as his assistants.

Defending Champions Saracens are looking for a third straight victory to start the season and their trip to Northampton Saints will be refereed by experienced official JP Doyle.

Elsewhere, Wayne Barnes takes charge of his 202nd fixture when he officiates Worcester Warriors against Newcastle Falcons at Sixways on Saturday.

Sale Sharks head to Exeter Chiefs that same day looking to build on last weekend’s victory over the Warriors – Karl Dickson will be the man in the middle at Sandy Park.

And finally, Matthew Carley is the man with the whistle at The Stoop as Bath Rugby head to Harlequins live on BT Sport on Saturday at 3pm.
