Bath Rugby v Gloucester Rugby moved to Sunday
“We are one of many businesses across the region effected by the recent snowfall which has been much heavier than forecast. We work closely with Premiership Rugby, and particularly Sports Stadia Services who manage Premiership Rugby’s adverse weather pitch management systems and advise the clubs regarding the management of conditions such as heavy snow fall.
We have been focused on delivering the game with minimal possible disruption, and whilst the game could not be delivered today it will now be possible to play tomorrow. Over the course of the day the snow is expected to thaw substantially. This means that heated dome can be erected by Sports Stadia Services later today and operated throughout the night to melt the remaining snow and ice.”
“Whilst Sunday afternoon fixtures aren’t a preference for many of our supporters, we believe the revised fixture time would be much preferred rather than delaying the game to Monday evening.” Commented Alex Cohen, Operations Director at Bath Rugby.
All tickets purchased for this game are still valid for the rescheduled fixture.
A gesture of thanks
Whilst the match has had to be rescheduled due to weather conditions outside of the Club’s control, we appreciate that this change in time and day could be an inconvenience to some supporters.
Therefore, we would like to offer all those with a valid matchday ticket for this fixture a free voucher to attend one of the Premiership Rugby Cup group stage games, due to take place in September and early October, next season to say thank you.
How to claim your voucher
You will need to return your match ticket via post or in person to the ticket office on or after Monday 11th February. We will then exchange it for a voucher which is valid for the group stages of the Premiership Rugby Cup next season.
