How social media reacted to the second round of the Six Nations

How social media reacted to the second round of the Six Nations

Leicester Tigers winger Jonny May was the star of the show as England claimed a narrow win against Wales to preserve their unbeaten start to the Six Nations.

May scored two first-half tries, the first set up by the excellent Owen Farrell and the second from Joe Launchbury, while Bath Rugby’s Sam Underhill made a tackle for the ages to deny Wales a try.

Elsewhere, Saracens winger Sean Maitland scored a try as Scotland got back to winning ways with a thrilling 32-26 win against France.

Here’s the best of social media:

Danny Care became England’s most capped scrum-half and Harlequins teammate Chris Robshaw was the first to congratulate him

Bath Rugby winger Anthony Watson was also quick to pass on his congratulations

Leicester Tigers’ Ben Youngs was impressed by Underhill’s last-ditch defending…

….And so was Alex Corbisiero

Some great respect shown at full-time by opposing hookers

There was plenty to like about Sean Maitland’s try for Scotland

England v Wales was an energy-sapping contest

Jonny May gave his seal of approval to the win

Tough game yesterday. Great team effort. #weartherose 🌹 I owe @joe_launch a 🍪
