Sale Sharks name team to face Exeter Chiefs
Sale Sharks make eight changes – six positional –in their squad for the Aviva Premiership Round 21 match against champions Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park on Saturday, kick off 3.00pm.
Will Addison returns from injury after a two-game absence and slots in at full back, whilst Johnny Leota is named in the 23 for the first time since last season’s final match against Bath.
That game was also the last time that the Curry brothers, Ben and Tom, were named in the Sharks’ starting fifteen, as they are for this weekend’s encounter in Devon. The James brothers, Sam and Luke, retain their centre positions.

Sharks’ Director of Rugby Steve Diamond said, “I think we need to win both our remaining games so we can’t afford to worry about the last game at home to Leicester.
“For us we’ve got to go to Exeter and play how we have been playing and give ourselves a chance to get in the Champions Cup.
“We didn’t get off the bus at Newcastle but came back to score 28 unanswered points. Ultimately, it wasn’t enough to win – but it showed we’ve got a bit of steel about us.”
