There’s been no love lost between Bath Rugby and Leicester Tigers in recent years and one of the game’s fiercest rivalries resumes on Friday in the Anglo-Welsh Cup.
Tigers are the defending Champions in the competition having beaten Exeter Chiefs 16-12 in last year’s Final ,and look intent on retaining the trophy.
The East Midlands side ground out a dramatic 26-24 win over Gloucester Rugby at the weekend in their Anglo-Welsh Cup opener and carry excellent form into Friday’s contest.

Meanwhile, Bath stormed to a 26-22 win over London Irish at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday with plenty of new heroes on display.
Winger Levi Davis scored on his debut for the West Country outfit, collecting a sublime Freddie Burns cross-field kick to touch down in the corner, with the fly-half also registering a 16-point haul.
Bath and Leicester’s mouth-watering clash is live on BT Sport on Friday night, with kick-off at 19.45, before the TV cameras turn their attentions to Wales for Scarlets’ encounter with Exeter Chiefs on Sunday.
Rob Baxter’s side have reached the last three Finals of the Anglo-Welsh Cup, winning the title in 2014, and got this year’s campaign off to a flying start with a 43-28 win over Northampton Saints on Saturday.

Elsewhere in the competition, Wasps travel to Wales to take on the Ospreys, Sale Sharks host Saracens, Gloucester welcome London Irish to Kingsholm and Newcastle Falcons face Cardiff Blues.
The late game on Saturday sees Northampton Saints attempt to overcome the Dragons and the second fixture on Sunday will be contested by Harlequins and Worcester Warriors.
