Aviva Premiership Rugby semi-finals take centre stage on BT Sport

Crunch time is almost here and on Saturday viewers will be able to watch four teams jostle for a place in the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final 2018 exclusively live on BT Sport.

Saracens and Wasps and reigning Champions Exeter Chiefs and Newcastle Falcons meet in two titanic semi-finals and from midday onwards, and BT Sport 1 will be your haven to watch the action unfold.

Coverage on BT Sport 1 begins at 12pm on Saturday, building up to Saracens’ showdown with Wasps.

Both teams were bested by eventual Aviva Premiership Rugby champions Exeter last season – in the semi-finals and the Final respectively – and on paper, an absorbing encounter could be in the offing.

Saracens claimed bonus-point victories both times these two sides met during the regular season – could history repeat itself or will knockout rugby hand Wasps the opportunity to flip the script?

Following the conclusion of the action at Allianz Park, focus will switch to the BT Sport cameras at Sandy Park as Exeter roll out the red carpet for Newcastle. Coverage begins at 2.45pm, again on BT Sport 1, with kick-off at 3.30pm

The Chiefs, who were crowned Champions courtesy of their thrilling 23-20 extra-time victory over Wasps at Twickenham last term, will have home advantage as they look to book their place in a third successive Aviva Premiership Rugby Final.

In October, they ran out 34-24 winners over the Falcons but Dean Richards’ side did defeat them 28-20 at Kingston Park in January.

By day’s end, the line-up for the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final 2018 on Saturday 26 May will be known.
