A thrilling Aviva Premiership Rugby Final is just days away as Exeter Chiefs and Saracens prepare to go head-to-head exclusively live on BT Sport.
Saracens put on a try-scoring masterclass to down Wasps, while Exeter Chiefs kept up their bid retain the crown by defeating Newcastle Falcons in a show-stopping semi-final weekend.
This Saturday’s match at Twickenham will be on shown on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport 4K UHD with coverage starting at 2pm, one hour before the season’s showpiece gets underway.
This will be the fourth time in five years that Saracens have made it to the Final while Exeter Chiefs are heading back to Twickenham for a third straight campaign.
When the pair collided in the 2016 Final it was tries from Alex Goode, Chris Wyles and Duncan Taylor that proved the difference as Saracens ran out 28-20 victors.
The Chiefs would have their revenge 12 months later in the most dramatic of circumstances as a 79th minute try from Sam Simmonds helped snatch a 18-16 semi-final victory at Sandy Park.
This season it has been Rob Baxter’s side that has emerged on top in the head-to-head stakes, winning both contests between the teams and claiming first place in the table, eight points clear of the north London club.
A late try from prop Moray Low proved to be vital as the Chiefs pipped Saracens 20-18 at Allianz Park despite two tries in the opening 13 minutes from Goode and Schalk Brits for the hosts.
It was more of the same at Sandy Park a few months later as Joe Simmonds put in a masterful display with the boot in a 24-12 win.
All this points to a thrilling showpiece this Saturday, and you can relive it all over again with the Channel 5 highlights show at 6pm on Monday.
