Premiership Rugby stars David Strettle, Kelly Brown and Jacques Burger were in Chelmsford earlier this week to meet employees from QBE, Official Business Insurance Partner of Premiership Rugby. The visit was part of QBE Team Talk; an initiative which sees top Premiership players visit QBE offices around the country to share advice on teamwork and motivation.
During the day the players joined QBE employees for a Q&A session hosted by Sky Sports presenter Alex Payne, followed by an informal meet and greet. QBE employee Stuart Skippings won four tickets to a Premiership Rugby match of his choice after the Saracens players selected his as the best question submitted on the day.
Saracens and England winger, David Strettle thinks that QBE Team Talk is a great initiative. “There are many similarities between working in a team on the pitch and in business. It’s interesting to chat with QBE employees about their work, and pass on advice and knowledge from another perspective.”
Matthew Crane, Managing Director of QBE Motor, commented: “QBE Team Talk has created such excitement around the office. To have international rugby players down to meet our employees and share their experiences on working as a team has certainly inspired us.”
