Sweeping changes for London Irish

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

In the backline England Sevens star Geoff Appleford makes a return at outside centre after leading the England Sevens side to victory in the recent Sevens tournament in George, South Africa, while Paul Sackey comes in on the right wing.

In the forwards former Springbok hooker Naka Drotske, lock Bob Casey and flankers Declan Danaher and Kieron Dawson make their return.

The Exiles ran out comfortable winners in their first meeting with Rotherham this season, but the Titans have bolstered their ranks over the past few weeks, flying in a number of players from South Africa and have named a new coach in South African Stef Nel.

"Rotherham have been busy over recent weeks strengthening their coaching and playing resources. We know that we will face a team that is significantly stronger than the one that we played at Madejski Stadium in October," said Gold.

"When you add home advantage to that we know we are in for a demanding return to Premiership action."
