Wilkinson unhurt in car crash

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

Wilkinson was being driven home by a friend, who reportedly lost cotrol of the car and hit a tree in North Yorkshire, England.

The Newcastle star's agent Dan Collins said that the player was unhurt and would be in London on Wednesday to receive an MBE from the Queen.

"He's fine, he's 100 percent," said Collins.

True to form, Wilkinson took part in training with the rest of the Newcastle squad on Tuesday morning. The driver of the car was also believed to be unhurt.
