NEC Harlequins name team for Northampton Saints

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

NEC Harlequins make three changes to the team that won at Leeds last Friday evening. In the forwards Mike Worsley returns at loose head prop having been a late cry off for the Leeds game due to a virus, with Ceri Jones starting on the bench, while Tani Fuga returns from injury to start at hooker. James Hayter, who played last week despite not having trained all week, will start on the bench.

In the backline Paul Burke returns to the starting line up switching with Andy Dunne who scored the first try for NEC Harlequins last weekend.

"There have been some difficult selection issues this week," said Mark Evans, NEC Harlequins Chief Executive. "Both Ceri (Jones) and Andy (Dunne) played very well last week and are unlucky not to get another opportunity against Northampton. Jim Hayter was very brave for us last week, but he was not fully fit, so we are pleased to see Tani fit and ready to return to the action. Northampton are playing very well at the moment and had a very good win against Gloucester last weekend. In Andrew Blowers and Bruce Reihana they have two of the best players in the Zurich Premiership, and they are playing very well as a team. I have a lot of respect for Wayne Smith and the Northampton back room staff. We know that Saturday's game will be a very tight affair."
