Falcons name Walder at fullback

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

As expected, captain Mark Andrews is missing due to his four weeks suspension, and prop Marius Hurter has also been ruled out of the game because of an ankle injury.

Craig Hamilton and Micky Ward have been named as their respective replacements.

Andrews has also made changes to the backline, with David Walder replacing Joe Shaw at fullback and Tom May starting on the right-wing. Michael Stephenson moves across to the left and Ben Gollings drops to the bench.

"Obviously any injury or suspension is a blow to the club but we're not too concerned. We have a good squad of players and it's business as usual," said Andrew of the changes to his side.

"Dave Walder would have played anyway and we've moved Ben Gollings back to the bench for tactical reasons against Bath."
