Bath without Best for Falcons trip

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

Best had exploratory surgery on his knee to discover the extent of the damage done to his anterior cruciate ligament during Bath's victory over Saracens last week and it was found that he would have to undergo reconstructive surgery next month.

Connolly has made no changes to the forward for the seventh week running, while hooker Jonathan Humphreys will captain the side once more.

Despite the win against Saracens, Connolly was unhappy with his team's execution last week and will be expecting an improvement against a strong Falcons team.
