Perry and Daniel return for Bath

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

Former England man Perry missed last weekend's victory over Rotherham with a thigh strain, but has trained well this week, whilst Brendon has recovered after having a cortisone injection in his lower back last week.

Following his brief holiday in Perth, Martyn 'Air-miles' Wood is back on English soil, and is resting ahead of Saturday's final training session. However, the scrum-half is expected to take his place in the side.

"Woody arrived back early this morning and he will have time to rest before the captain's run tomorrow [Saturday]," said coach John Connolly.

"Chris Malone, Jamie Williams, Tim Brasher and Brendon Daniel will all face late fitness tests, and we will be making decisions on them tomorrow after the session. However, the great news is that Matt Perry fine and is looking to start the game."

Tim Brasher, David Barnes and Gareth Knox all drop out of the match-day squad.

Brasher sustained a nasty cut in his mouth against Rotherham and received eight stitches, whilst prop Barnes and full back Knox make way for Jamie Williams and Robbie Kydd on the bench.

"Saracens are a very dangerous side," continued Connolly.

"Thomas Castiagnède, Taine Randell, Mark Bartholomeusz and Ben Johnston are all class players and they have an extremely good attacking back three who will burn you if you are not careful."
