As with all Clubs, injuries have begun to mount – and Joe Ewens(shoulder) and Derek Jelley(shoulder) are added to the list – and Glen Kenworthy (chest) and James Cockle (leg) have not quite recovered enough for this game.
Changes are made – veteran Simon Bunting replaces Christian Loader in the Front Row – Leon Greeff replaces World Cup bound Luke Gross in the 2nd Row – and Craig Short makes his first start in the back row. The midfield have a new look with Jason Strange starting at 10 and Phil Jones ( who made a big impression last week) moving to the centre to replace Peter Jorgensen who has been unable to train for most of the week. He teams up with Jon Pritchard who replaces Joe Ewens. "This will be our toughest challenge so far for the team – with the likes of Reihana, Blowers and Drahm all being big matchwinners , surrounded by quality players. We have to improve our finishing to get anything out of the match – and compete for everything in all areas of the pitch. We feel that we have the players who can do that," said Mike Schmid the Head Coach.
