A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

Connolly warned his team not to underestimate the Saints, who have plenty of quality in their ranks, and stressed the importance of home games in the competition.

"Saints were consistent last season and will be strong coming into this weekend," said Connolly.

"We have a few aches and pains but everyone will be ok. There is a lot of competition for places … winning home games is vital, history shows that. We have three hard weeks coming up and we will change our game plan from week to week but we need to keep it simple.

"We have got to show that we can really soak up the pressure. [Shane] Drahm is dangerous, he's really creative, has a big boot and is a dangerous player with the ball. You've got players of the calibre of Reihana and Robinson, then there is Connors and Williams, that's a strong line-out and they are a very reasonable side."
