The Saints, who beat Bath in the semi-finals, relied heavily on the experience of former New Zealand Sevens star Bruce Reihana, who did not disappoint, the former All Black scoring two tries in the Final, as the Falcons were unable to come to terms with their Zurich Premiership rivals.
The Falcons, who had defeated the British Army in the semi-finals, did, however, take an early lead through an intercept try by Ben Gollings, but they battled to breach the watertight Saints defence after that as their opponents scored 31 unanswered points.
* Earlier, Gloucester won the Plate Final, with a comfortable 26-5 victory over the Rotherham Titans.
The 'Cherry and Whites' had earlier been knocked out by the British Army, but still had enough left in their tanks to get past Sale in the semi-finals, and the Titans in the Final.
