Name change for Wasps’ ground

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

The name is the result of a six-figure sponsorship deal between software manufacturer Causeway Technologies Ltd and ground owners Wycombe Wanderers.

Wasps arrived at the 10,000 capacity stadium in High Wycombe at the beginning of the 2002/03 season, following a lengthy stint at another football ground, QPR's Loftus Road in West London.

The move has been a massive success for Wasps – who beat Gloucester at Twickenham in May to become Premiership champions – 7,000 fans turning up for their debut at the new ground in September 2002 and a capacity crowd packing into the ground for the home tie against Leicester Tigers in December 2002.
