Beziers sign Gloucester back and Bourgoin flanker

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

The 30-year-old Costes joins from Bourgoin, and brings with him 14 caps worth of experience, although his last appearance for Les Bleus was all the way back in 2000.

Their other acquistion, Catling, joins from English regular season winners and Premiership Final runners-up Gloucester, with the 27-year-old England 'A' player having seen his chances limited by the presence of Thinus Delport and Henry Paul at the club, among others.

Béziers actually finished in the relegation places of the French top-flight last season, prompting many of their players to leave the club. But when they were given a shock reprieve and handed back their place, their frantic recent recruitment drive got underway.
