The 25-year-old former New Zealand Sevens player thus becomes Bath's 10th off-season signing.
Daniel, who has also appeared for Saracens and Harlequins in England's Premiership is delighted to have secured the deal with Bath.
"I'm really excited about the new season and linking up with players of the calibre of Iain Balshaw and Matt Perry," Daniel told the club's official website.
"I'm also looking forward to playing with Mike Catt to see if I can get on the inside of him and find some gaps.
"Bath have a good history and I'm looking forward to playing in the team. If I can play well for the club, hopefully the opportunity will arise to play international rugby."
