The Tykes' first pre-season engagement will be the London Pride Middlesex Sevens at Twickenham on Saturday, August 16. The following week Phil Davies' side will spend in Wales on a training camp before facing Gwent Dragons at Pontypool Park on Friday, August 22.
This will be the first home game for the new Welsh franchise, made up from Ebbw Vale and Newport.
The Tykes will return to Headingley the following week to face Scottish side Borders on Saturday, August 30. The two sides met last season in a mid-season friendly when the Tykes ran out 24-15 winners at Galashiels.
Commenting on the preparations, Director of Rugby Phil Davies said: "Both games will be extremely competitive. Gwent will be looking to get off to a good start in their new guise and their players will be out to impress. We are delighted that we have been able to offer Borders a return game at Headingley and like ourselves they are preparing for their first season in the Heineken Cup and will be anxious to get off to a good start."
The Tykes' season starts on Sunday, September 14 when they entertain Bath at Headingley, on the opening day of the Zurich Premiership season.
Meanwhile, the Tykes are hopeful that their season ticket 'early bird offer' will be taken up by more supporters.
"Season ticket sales are going extremely well. Since the Heineken Cup draw has been made, interest in season tickets has been incredible," said Nick Fletcher, the Tykes' Marketing Manager.
"We want more families coming to Leeds Tykes games next season, and we hope that by offering such a good value deal, that more families might consider coming on a regular basis."
