Saints hit the magic million mark

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

Season tickets went on sale at the start of June and a total of 5,000 season ticket application forms have already been processed with hundreds still waiting to be handled by Saints' ticket office staff.

Northampton Saints Commercial Director Allan Robson said: "It looks like we are well on course to topping last year's sales of 5,400, which were a record at the time, and we have already attracted almost 700 new season ticket holders, despite 2003/04 being a World Cup year.

"Our new season ticket holders are mainly supporters that have previously enjoyed the whole package we offer at Franklin's Gardens. The matches are obviously the biggest attraction, but I believe our facilities, helpful and friendly staff, community schemes, children's entertainment, programme and corporate hospitality has also swayed their decision just as they influenced the judges when Saints were awarded the Premier Rugby Club of the Year award in May."

Season tickets are still on sale from the ticket office on 01604 581000. They include Saints' pre-season games against Bedford Blues and Premiership runners-up Gloucester, as well as 11 Zurich Premiership games, three Heineken Cup games and all Wanderers games. Prices range from £90 for juniors and concessions, and £180 for adults.
