Departing England donate kit to Aussie schools

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

The English toppled the All Blacks and the Wallabies in successive weeks Down Under, and despite a frosty media reception to coach Clive Woodward's post-match comments, the tourists have gone to grass roots level in their bid to win over the public there.

Players popped into Merrilands College and Hillcrest School in Melbourne to donate training equipment on behalf of sponsors Zurich.

Richard Hill, Graham Rowntree, Dorian West, Martin Johnson, Trevor Woodman, Neil Back, Jason Leonard, Lawrence Dallaglio and Joe Worsley met pupils from the two schools who received the post pad protectors and tackle bags.
