Topping the list of 10 incoming players are Ireland and Llanelli scrum-half Guy Easterby and Australia and Northampton centre Peter Jorgensen.
Jorgensen made a total of 14 appearances for Northampton Saints during the 2002/03 season, scoring five tries in the processs, while Easterby has been a huge influence for Llanelli during his time with Wales' most successful club.
From Leicester come front row duo Derek Jelley and Peter Smyth, while Bristol flanker Craig Short and Orrell fly-half Phil Jones have also signed on the dotted line.
A number of players from Welsh clubs have also joined the Premiership newcomers – Newport duo Jon Pritchard and Jason Strange, USA and Llanelli lock Luke Gross and Pontypridd flanker Geraint Lewis.
Having been controversially denied entry to the Premiership last year due to off-field issues relating to the status of their stadium, it seems that Rotherham are intent on staying put in the Premiership after winning National Division One for the second year in succession.
