A hamstring strain means wing John Rudd misses out, with Scotland's Kenny Logan starting down the left in his place, and Mark Denney coming on to the bench.

Samoan Trevor Leota takes the place of England 'A' tourist Phil Greening at hooker, while Welshman Rob Howley comes in for Martyn Wood at scrum-half.
