After a three-week break since the last Zurich Premiership game of the regular season against the Leicester Tigers, Melville is now confident that the Gloucester players are ready to 'get their teeth' into the Twickenham Finale.
"We have been waiting for this moment and now we have something we can really get our teeth into.
"Nobody has got any other thoughts other than this game. There is something to focus on which is good. "It was not too long ago that this game seemed to be a long way off, but now we can get on with the job and we will crank things up a little bit more today."
Melville was able to welcome back club captain Phil Vickery, following his duties with England on Sunday and Melville insisted he was in good shape following his first 80 minutes since November.
"It is very good to have him back," he said.
"It was a tough, physical game and he will feel a lot better for that. He was in the gym and there is no reaction".
The starting XV will be announced on match day but Phil Vickery is expected to lead the side.
