Leicester sign England Under-19 star

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

Broadfoot was one of the standout performers for the England U19 side which competed in the FIRA world championships in France earlier this year and also played for his country at Schools level.

"Ross is a player with a huge amount of natural talent and is an instinctive fly-half," said Leicester's Director of Rugby Dean Richards.

"He is an extremely exciting prospect for the future and the club have been following his progress for several years now.

"We are delighted to have secured his services, especially as Conor O'Shea told me he expects him to be playing Premiership rugby within a year.

"However, reputations count for nothing at this club. It is now down to Ross to show he can perform at first-team level."
