Premiership Final Ticket News

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

Ahead of Gloucester Rugby Club's second visit to Twickenham this season on 31st May for the Zurich Premiership Final, it has been announced that it will be in a position to start selling tickets from the Kingsholm ticket office from 9.00am on Tuesday 6th May. Tickets will only be on sale from the Ticket Office windows atthe club while a dedicated phone line has been established for those unable to get to Gloucester.

Premier Rugby has informed Gloucester Rugby Club that they are despatching the initial allocation of 7,000 tickets in blocks, starting firstly with tickets in the lower tiers of Twickenham's 75,000 seater stadium. This allocation strategy will allow the other finalists the opportunity to have a fair and equal distribution.

Initially, 4,000 tickets will be printed and couriered to Kingsholm and they will then be sold to Season Ticket Holders only for the first week – up to and including the sell-out home match versus Leicester on May 10th. There are no restrictions on the numbers of tickets that each person can buy as the club looks to takeas many people back to Twickenham for another final.

The remaining 3,000 tickets of Gloucester's original allocation are already available on the dedicated Gloucester phone line held with Ticketmaster – 0870 333 0153. This service was offered following the huge volume of telephone calls to the club in advance of the Powergen Cup Final. It is open 24 hours a day and there are 300 lines available. In the first day of sales following Gloucester's qualification for the final, more tickets were sold for the Premiership Final than for the England v Barbarians game (26th May).

The tickets will then go on general sale from the ticket office from Monday 12th May.

Fans who are unable to get to Gloucester in this first week should not panic. Premier Rugby has indicated that once Gloucester has sold the original allocation of tickets, the club will be sent the next block of tickets, and this will continue. For the recent Powergen Cup Final, Gloucester Rugby Club were selling over 3,000tickets a day and subsequently Premier Rugby are ready to release new ticket stock immediately.

Gloucester Rugby Club is also pleased to announce that with the help of Club Chairman Tom Walkinshaw, it has been able to source 33 coaches from local bus companies and will be able to provide supporters with subsidised travel to and from Twickenham.

These coaches are priced at £6 for Season Ticket Holders and £8 for non Season Ticket Holders and represent a fantastic half price deal for everyone to get to the game. Due to this offer from the club, you can only access the coach passes from the Kingsholm ticket office. Ticketmaster are not selling coach travel to thisgame.

These coaches will depart Kingsholm at 10.30am

Said Ken Nottage, "A day out at Twickenham can be expensive for our supporters, especially as they havealready been once this season, and the Chairman wanted to provide financial support to our fans to help themon this day."
