Wasps reshuffle backs for Sharks trip

A Gallagher Premiership Rugby ball

Wasps are currently second in the table, one point ahead of their weekend hosts, and will likely have to face Sharks in the semi-final of the Zurich Championship play-offs, providing fourth-placed Leicester or any of the chasing pack do not sneak into the top three.

In the re-jigged Wasps backline for Saturday's match, England fullback Josh Lewsey reverts to the right-wing, and centre Fraser Waters returns alongside new England squad member Stuart Abbott.

Mark van Gisbergen takes over at fullback after Lewsey's positional switch, while right-wing John Rudd moves to the left-wing.

Samoan Trevor Leota starts in place of England Sevens star Phil Greening, with their bench including Scotland wing Kenny Logan.

London Wasps: 15 Mark Van Gisbergen, 14 Josh Lewsey, 13 Fraser Waters, 12 Stuart Abbott, 11 John Rudd, 10 Alex King, 9 Rob Howley, 8 Lawrence Dallaglio (captain), 7 Paul Volley, 6 Joe Worsley, 5 Richard Birkett, 4 Simon Shaw, 3 Will Green, 2 Trevor Leota, 1 Craig Dowd.Replacements: 16 Martyn Wood, 17 Phil Greening, 18 Kenny Logan, 19 Ayoola Erinle, 20 Mark Lock, 21 Peter Scrivener, 22 Alistair McKenzie.
