Bristol set for friendly match against USA

The match is a warm-up fixture for the USA squad, who play Rugby World Cup qualification matches on April 12 and 27.

Commenting on Bristol's official website, Shoguns head coach Peter Thorburn said: "The match against the USA offers supporters the opportunity to see the Shoguns play a different team in addition to Zurich Premiership sides.

"As well as providing the USA with a warm-up fixture, it also provides us with a game leading up to our fixture away at Northampton on 16 April, instead of going a month without a game.

"Finally, they're in Bristol for a week during the build up to the game and we will be able to work closely with them in training, giving us the opportunity for some live work with them in the scrum."

Tickets to the match are available from the Bristol Shoguns Ticket Hotline 0117 311 1461 or on-line at www.bristolshoguns.co.uk.
