Cueto, the top try scorer in the Zurich Premiership last season, was be presented with a magnum of champagne and a cheque for £200 on Tuesday 11 March at Heywood Road  following his nomination by a panel of ten members of the media for his recent impressive performances for Sharks. He plans to spend some of the £200 on new golf clubs.

Cueto is currently second in this season's Zurich Premiership try scoring table with 10 tries. Steve Hanley, also of Sharks, is at the top of the table with 12 tries this season, while Josh Lewsey of London Wasps is in third position with 9 tries.

Other winners of the award this season include Jake Boer (Gloucester), Josh Kronfeld (Leicester Tigers), Mark Regan (Leeds Tykes) and Marcel Garvey (Gloucester).
