Quins retire Duncombe’s No.9 shirt

No Harlequins player will wear the No.9 jersey for the rest of the UK season, a tribute to the spritely 21-year-old whose death has prompted a mass outpouring of grief from fans all over the world.

In addition, Quins will change their club crest to incorporate an 'ND9' logo underneath their usual badge, with the new shirts on display this weekend when they face Bristol in the Zurich Premiership.

Harlequins coach and CEO Mark Evans told The Evening Standard: "He was such a popular member of the squad and we all miss him terribly."
